Virtual Assistants (VAs) are the core of 40A., working independently with their assigned clients to efficiently and effectively complete any and all tasks relating to a client’s specific project. As an extension of the client’s team and the primary client contact, the VA will be expected to maintain thorough, proactive, and professional communications with a given client for the duration of the client’s project(s). The 40A. Team of Directors will support the VA with any client relations as needed, as well as provide training, feedback, resources, and direction before, during, and after a given project.
Keen attention to detail, ability to self-manage, and ability to meet strict deadlines are essential. Additionally, assistants are expected to adhere to all 40A. policies, contracts, and best practices at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Advanced writing skills with strengths in editing, proofreading, language, and flow
- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
- Experience writing in different voices, for different purposes, and to reach different audiences
- Experience with content management systems/website builders such as WordPress
- Experience with task management platforms such as Notion or Trello
- Fast, secure, and reliable desktop or laptop computer and Internet connection
- Available to respond to emails within timely manner during business hours (9a-5p CT, Mondays through Fridays)
- Willing to learn, adapt, ask questions, and seek more information when needed
- Able to accurately type no fewer than 50 WPM

- Collaborate with other members of client’s team as needed to ensure successful completion of client’s project
- Communicate clearly, accurately, and professionally regarding the status of assigned tasks and projects
- Efficiently manage a number of varied tasks and competing priorities
- Execute assigned tasks in a manner consistent with 40A., LLC.’s high standards
- Adhere to strict deadlines without sacrificing quality of work or professionalism
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and industry best practices
- Receive and incorporate feedback from clients and/or 40A. Team of Directors as necessary
- Maintain an accurate, real-time log of all worked hours per project via designated time tracking system
- Attend virtual meetings if needed (with ample notice provided)
